In 2011, The Rainey Institute moved into our 23,000 square foot new building that will able us to serve more kids in our programs throughout the year. Thanks mostly to a successful capital campaign and a collection of generous donors that realize the value we provide to Cleveland’s youth, we have been able to construct a new building that will allow us to expand the number of kids we serve.
We now have dedicated areas for dance, music lessons, art, drama, an outdoor theater, playground, and even a new sewing room. Our new Debra Ann November Theater accommodates 180 guests with tiered seating, a sprung stage floor and state of the art lighting which gives our kids a fantastic facility in which to learn and perform every element of producing and performing.
Our grand opening of the building was recently documented by Obie Shelton. Take a look!
