How Does the Rainey Summer Arts Day Camp Operate?

Summer Day Camp Website PhotoCamp hours are from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (with before and after care available)

Students either attend our traditional camp or an El Sistema@Rainey/traditional camp mix. This mixed format allows our school year orchestra students to continue their studies during summer months.

Summer campers will enjoy classes in performing and visual arts, arts-integrated reading, creative writing and math activities, guest speakers, field trips and more!  It all leads up to the “Festival of Fun” in July – our end-of-camp performances and celebration of the arts from campers, families, friends and the community!

Each summer we host about 225 campers & 20 teen leaders.

Families pay $400/student for the entire summer with a non-refundable $25. registration fee. Families pay $300 for each additional child. Before and after care is a separate cost. Financial aid is available for those with significant financial challenges. No child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
