Rainey Institute is excited to announce the transition of Brandon Lipford into the new role of Director of Arts Education. Brandon has served Rainey as Director of Development since January 2020, leading the organization’s fundraising efforts, donor relations, foundation partnerships, and production of Rainey’s first-ever virtual Glissando event.

Brandon is an experienced leader in non-profit administration and program development, with an extensive background in arts education, music, marketing and graphic design, and youth services. Prior to joining Rainey, he served as choral director of the Lutheran East High School Gospel Choir, as well as program manager for Center for Arts-Inspired Learning’s award-winning ArtWorks program. He is also the founder of a faith-based, sacred arts organization, GEISAS, and its creative, social entrepreneurship program, SAVIOURS. Brandon is also a talented songwriter and musician, a licensed minister, worship leader, and former youth pastor at his Church, and a proud husband and father.

His creativity and passion for innovative programming has already benefited Rainey through the many challenges and adjustments of 2020, as he worked not only to sustain and increase fundraising, but to assist in the design of Rainey’s Summer Tour and the transition of several programs to virtual platforms.  As Director of Arts Education, Brandon will work with Rainey’s program leaders and teaching artist faculty to continually enhance, refine, and grow our arts programs in all aspects and disciplines.  We are thrilled to welcome Brandon into this role and excited about the educational experiences he will help to create for our students, organization, and community.
